The Survivor Dress is Completed!!! woah!!!!!!

Its a little funky and a little out there..

I just want to thank everyone who was a part of this project…

The lovely and talented Caragh Poh and Grace Brown for helping to spread the word, Lizz Polchlopek for her graphic design skills and help at the BARCC Walk for Change, Emily Carter for being there every time I needed help and staying up WAY too late working on this with me,  every single participant who I met with and personally photographed, everyone who submitted photos and stories, all of the wonderful people who donated money and made this possible, and my mother, without her amazing support and even more amazing sewing skills this would not be possible.

I love you all, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.

The dress will be on display in the Anderson Gallery in Bridgewater MA from May 23rd to June 20th. Please come and check it out along with the fantastic work from artists including…

Tristyn Desrosiers

 Chris DeTraglia

Josie Davis

 Amy Montello

 Felicia Rousseau

I wanted to share this story from a truly amazing, strong, and beautiful survivor…

“ My attackers are dead now, and beyond the reach of mortal justice. It is hard to forgive when I’ve borne the pain and damage, while they went on to live out their natural lives free of consequences. But on the other hand, they stole so much from me - youth, innocence, childhood, security, my ability to function as an adult. I was in my late twenties before I stopped thinking about suicide every day. So I forgive them because I don’t want them to steal one more day. They took enough of my life, and I won’t give them anymore.”
